Unilever, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, recently announced a major cloud migration project, and they have enlisted the help of two tech giants, Accenture and Microsoft, to assist with this endeavor. This collaboration aims to accelerate the company’s digital transformation and enhance its agility and responsiveness to changing market demands.

The project will involve moving Unilever’s entire SAP-based system landscape to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, which will enable Unilever to leverage the benefits of cloud computing, including increased scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. By migrating to the cloud, Unilever will also be able to better manage its data and optimize its business processes.

To ensure a successful migration, Unilever has brought in Accenture, a leading global professional services company, and Microsoft, a world-renowned technology company, to provide their expertise and support. Accenture will provide the necessary technical resources, project management, and change management expertise to guide Unilever through the migration process, while Microsoft will provide the cloud platform and tools needed to make the migration a success.

This collaboration between Unilever, Accenture, and Microsoft is an excellent example of how companies can work together to leverage technology and digital solutions to transform their operations and improve their competitive position. The collaboration will also help Unilever enhance its ability to deliver innovative products and services to its customers and respond to changing market demands more quickly and effectively.

As Unilever’s Chief Information and Digital Officer, Jane Moran, noted, “This partnership with Microsoft and Accenture is an important part of our strategy to transform Unilever’s IT function, and I am confident that their combined expertise will help us achieve our goal of becoming a more agile, digitized, and data-driven business.”

The massive cloud migration project is expected to take several years to complete, but the collaboration between Unilever, Accenture, and Microsoft has already begun. With their combined resources and expertise, they are poised to successfully guide Unilever through this significant transformation and help the company achieve its digital goals.
